We look forward to meeting you!

All Good Equipment Company is a family-owned and operated small business out of San Carlos, California, in the San Francisco Bay Area. We design and build high-quality hand-crafted teardrop trailers and camping equipment, designed for California adventure.

We officially started the business in 2022, but the teardrop trailer design has been in the works since 2016. When Matt Bettman first set out to design the first All Good Equipment teardrop trailer, he was a full-time industrial designer at an SF-based design firm, focusing on consumer electronics and biomedical equipment. The teardrop trailer was his passion project, and it was for his family camping trips. He had the luxury of doing it for himself and his family without any obligation to a boss, a client, or a group of shareholders.

From the first night we spent with our trailer, it re-defined our camping experience. It now helps us get out more frequently, allowing us to get up and go at a moment’s notice — everything’s already packed and ready to go.

After building 2 more trailers for friends, we decided to start All Good Equipment. We then teamed up with our sister and brother-in-law (also Matt!), and now the two Matts build trailers in their San Carlos workshop in the Bay Area.

The image shows the interior of a store or workshop with a wood ceiling, bright fluorescent lights, and a beige wall. There are various equipment and tools, including a trailer with a rounded front and a small outdoor grill or smoker. A sign partially visible in the foreground reads 'ALL GOOD EQUIPMENT CO.'
